Rhodocollybia butyracea (Bull.) Lennox 1979
(Collybia butracea) like Cannopus acervatus, this species is a decomposed of conifer wood. Tends to be found with pines. Cap is more red-brown than similar appearing yellow-brown Gymnopus dryophilus. White stem is also shaped more like a club. White close gills often exhibit finely jagged edges, unlike Gymnopus dryophilus. It is in the Marasmiaceae family of the Agaricales order.
