The Irpiciaceae family Spirin & Zmitr. (2003) is in the Polyporales order. It includes select crust fungi and polypores. They are characterized by mainly having only generative hyphae without clamp connections. Most are white rotters. Genera in this family include Byssomerulius, Ceriporia, Efibula, Emmia, Flavodon, Gloeoporus, Hydnopolyporus, Leptoporus, Meruliopsis and Trametopsis. The type species is Irpex lacteus.
