Xylaria polymorpha (Pers.) Grev. 1824
This one is commonly known as ‘Dead Man’s Fingers.’ The top photo shows it in its young ‘immature’ form covered in conidia. It is in the Xylariaceae family of the Xylariales order of ascomycota.
