Hygrocybe mucronella 

is a small waxy cap with a viscid red cap, darker on the disc, and fading to yellow-orange toward the translucent-striate margin. Gills are waxy, subsistent and broad and orange to orange-yellow with age. The stem is viscid in youth, more or less concolorous with the cap and dry with maturity. These beautiful waxy caps can be found under conifers in moss from mid-summer to fall. They are bitter tasting.  This is in the Hygrophoraceae family of the Agaricales order.
