Many of the mushrooms we commonly find and look for are in this order. Most, but not all, are gilled mushrooms. However, you will also find fungi that have tradionally been placed in other orders and families, such as some of the pufffballs like Calvatia and Lycoperdon species as well as Fistulina and others.
