Boletinellus merulioides "Ash Tree Bolete" Yellow-brown to olive kidney-shaped or irregularly lobbed cap with inrolled margin. Flesh tough, yellow staining blue-green to brwon. Shallow tubes are yellow-ochre. Pores large and radially arranged, variable. Off-center, short stalk. Under ash trees. Has an interesting relationship with aphids. Not mycorrhizal.
