Suillus grevellei, “Larch Bolete”. Convex, very slimy, bright yellow to orange-brown cap. Fine lemon-yellow pores bruising cinnamon-brown. Slimy white-yellow ring at top of stipe is prominent. Yellow flesh is firm, and does not stain. There are no glandular bumps on stipe. Yellow-brown” spore print. Mychorrizal with larch trees. Edible. Peel cap skin off before cooking.
