Many of us wonder why our camera’s shutter button sometimes refuses to work. There are many possible reasons. One of them is that we are just too close to our subject.
Yes, the specifications may claim we can get as close as an inch to our subject, but this is only under perfect conditions, which rarely exist.
With the zoom retracted will have a wide field of view, but if too close the subject will be out of focus; barrel distortion; shadow of the camera’s lens. (a bigger problem for SLRs)
