Fuscoporia gilvus (Phellinus gilvus)  

The word “gilvus” means pale yellow”, the color of its growing edge. Usually a tough, sometimes bumpy, somewhat zonate annual rust-brown colored polypore that fruits in overlapping tiers. Young specimens exhibit a yellowish margin. Hymenium is rust-brown. Interior flesh is yellow to yellow-brown. Spore print is white. Common on dead oak wood. A white rotter of hardwoods. It is in the Hymenochaetaceae family of the Hymenochaetales order.
