Galerina marginata (Galerina autumnalis) A deadly lookalike for Fammulina velutipes and several species of Psilocybe.

Saprotrophic on hardwoods and conifers. Smallish brown cap. Rusty-brown sport print. Fragile ring. Can be found throughout the year, but more prevalent in autumn. Has the same toxin that is in the “Destroying Angels”, Amanita bisporigera, Amanita ocreata, and Amanita verna (a-amanitin).  Destroys liver cells. Symptoms the same.
