Amanita wellsii, "Well's Amanita” Cap is salmon to pale-orange with irregular sticky pale yellow patches & inner veil remnants adhering to margin. Stalk lemon-yellow and texture cottony-powdery. Fragile ring disappears early. Cup reduces to yellow deposit around smooth basal bulb. White spore print. On ground in mixed woods Not common, but widespread.
