AGARICUS haemorrhoidarius "Bleeding Mushroom" Caps are convex to flat, dry, gray-brown, covered with red-brown hairy scales. White flesh rapidly turns red. Gills are free, close, pink to purple-brown. Stalks slghtly hairy, pinksh tan. Ring is large. Purple-brown spore print. Found on the ground in marshy woods. Widespread but uncommon. Saprotrophic.
