This is in the Boletus edulis complex. I has a pitted/bumpy cap surface. The white pores are initially stuffed. There is white reticulation at the top and base of the stem, but browner in the middle. The flesh is white and does not bruise any color. It smells pleasant and tastes sweet. It grows under hardwoods.
