Pseudomerulius curtisii (Paxillus curtisii) (Berk.) Redhead & Ginns 1985
This unusual fungus has produces a sessile (no stem) attached fuzzy bright yellow cap and a wavy, gill-like yellowish-orange to oilvaceous hymenium. It grows from debarked dead wood of conifers. It is a brown rotter. This fungus is in the Tapinellaceae family of the Boletales order.
