Calocera viscosa (Pers.) Fr. 1827 “Yellow Staghorn"
is a viscid branching yellow to orange jelly fungus that grows from decaying conifer wood. It is most commonly found after rain in autumn. It is in the Dacrymycetaceae family of the Dacrymycetales order. Fungi in this order have ‘tuning fork’ basidia.
