GANODERMATACEAE family

The Ganodermataceae family is in the Polyporales and currently includes about 8 genera and 300 species. Marinus Anton Donk, the Dutch mycologist, circumscribed this family in 1948 based on the fact that the polypores within this family have a double spore wall.
