OMPHALOTACEAE Family

The Omphalotaceae family in the Agricales order includes numerous small to medium sized marasmioid and gymnopoid fruiting bodies as well as the various species of Omphalotus. They have in common the fact that they are commonly found growing from dead wood and from garden mulch.
