Inocybe tahquamenonensis D.E. Stunz
Inocybe tahquamenonensis has a dark brown, reddish-brown or purple-brown cap that is covered in many small but densely-spaced erect dark brown scales. The stem is similarly covered in dark erect scales. The gills are initially purple-brown and become darker brown with maturity. It makes a brown spore print. Like other inocybes, the gill edges are fringed. It has a radish-like odor if any. This Inocybe can be confused with Pouzarella nodospora, which has a pinkish-brown spore print. It is in the Inocybaceae family of the Agaricales order.
