Porphyrellus nebulosus (Tylopilus nebulosus) Peck) Wolfe (1980)
has a brownish cap sometimes develops cracks nd that stains darker with handling. Its pores are initially yellow becoming brown and then reddish-brown with maturity. They stain blackish-brown. Stem is brown. Flesh is white, but stains reddish-brown, followed by darkening. It is in the Boletaceae family of the Boletales order.
