Crepidotus crocophyllus
This small pleurotoid or shell-shaped ‘crep’ is covered with scaly white to red-brown to brown fibrils on its cap. The fairly close young gills are saffron yellow-orange and become brown with age. Spore print is brown. It is saprotrophic - a wood decay fungus. It is in the Crepidotaceae family of the Agaricales order.
