RAMARIA stricta (Persoon) Quelet
straightly branched light tan coral fungus. (Just tastes bitter and smells of anise). Grows from roots, trunks and branches of both hardwoods and conifers. Most ramarias are mycorrhizal. It is not know if this species is mycorrhizal or saprotrophic. It is in the Gomphaceae family of the Gomphales order.
