Coltricia montagnei (Fr.) Murrill 1920 (previously Coltricia montagnei var greenei)
Uncommon hairy brown, rust-brown or yellow-brown, circular, tough, thickish polypore with a sturdy vevety brownish stem that grows under hardwoods and sometimes conifers. Most unusual is the development on the hymenium of pores that can appear to be concentrically arranged. Spore print is light brown. Annual. It is in the Hymenochaetaceae family of the Hymenochaetales order.
