Boletus aureissimus (Murrill) Murrill
It has a dry, velvety, golden yellow cap, pores and stipe. Slight reticulation at top of stipe. No bluing with handling or expure to air. Mycorrhizal with oaks. It is in the Boletaceae family of the Boletales order.
