Cortinarius hesleri Ammirati & Smith 1984
According to some mycologists, Cortinarius hessleri is believed to be part of the European Cortinarius cinnabarinus complex. It is distinguished by its bright red-orange cap, gills and stem. Its cortina is also orange as is the basal mycelium. Spore print is rust-brown. It emits a radish-like ordor. It is an oak and a possible beech associate.
