Stereum sanguinolentum (Alb. & Schwein.) Fr. 1838
Stereum sanguineolentum grows from dead conifer wood. Stereum gausapatum, which looks frustratingly similar to Stereum hirsutum (Hairy stereum) like Stereum sanguineolentum is also a bleeder, but it grows only from dead oak. It is in the Stereaceae family of the Russulales.
