Lactarius psammicola A.H. Smith 1941
Lactarius psammicola is an ochraceous orange to buff zoned milky with fibrils, a deeply depressed central disc and incurved margin. Gills are slightly decurrent, narrow, and closely spaced. At times the gills are forked at the stalk apex. Stem is whitish. Associates with conifers and hardwoods. This is in the Russulacae family of the Russulales order.
