Collybia tuberosa (Bull.) P. Kumm. 1871
Collybiaa tuberosa grows on decaying fungi and often appears appears following rain in summer and fall. Beneath them can be found tiny red-brown elliptically-shaped sclerotia. They draw energy from the sclerotia to grow and sporulate. It is in the Tricholomataceae family of the Agaricales order.
