Amanita albocreata has a whitish cap with a pale yellowish center a deeply lined margin and scattered white patches left from its universal veil. Its closely-spaced gills are white with edged that are cottony. They are unattached at the apex of the white hollow stem, which tapers outward toward the apex.  It bears no ring. The basal bulb is sheathed in the cup-like tissue of the universal veil.
