Psathyrella conissans (Peck) A.H. Smith
Commonly called the Red Gilled Psathyrella. The gills are not red as much as the spores are a dark pink-red. These were found in a hollow of a maple tree in October. The spore print can be seen on parts of the cap that was below the specimen above it. The cap is a pale tan, flesh is thin, gills are close and the stipe is white and hollow.
